DSPA UAS CONTROL
EN54-certified DSPA Universal Activation Controller. The DSPA UAS system has been developed to control and activate small or large DSPA condensed aerosol devices using a CCD-103 type fire alarm and extinguishing control panel. Up to two DSPA UAS Controllers can be connected to a fire extinguishing control panel, each of which can control up to 100 DSPA UASFOR or relay units.

Description
The DSPA – Activation Control Module enables the implementation of a basic automatic fire extinguishing
with DSPA aerosol generators. Power supply is provided by a 2x 3V CR123A built-in batteries and/or
external 24VdcTwo external sensors or switches activates the DSPA Activation Control Module with a 5 second pre-warning
time before discharge. In order to avoid errors, the signal(s) must be activated for at least 1 second long. The
module can activate up to 4 DSPA aerosol generators (Output Ext 1-2). The module has 2 potential free
alarm contacts, 1 for Pre-Alarm and 1 for Alarm (first and second stage alarm). Each contact can be used as
Normally Open and as Normally Closed. The Pre-Alarm contact can also be used to switch off ventilation
equipment.
Application
DSPA Activation Control Module and DSPA Aerosol generators are an ideal combination. The DSPA
Activation Control Module works together with up to 4 DSPA aerosol generators, this makes the
combination of DSPA Activation Control Module with DSPA aerosol generators a unique and compact
detection and extinguishing system. They are installed in high-risk areas where there is little space available
such as electrical cabinets, engine compartments, etc. This is what DSPA calls “firefighting at the source”.
